Thanks. Yes we’re lucky we have surplus and normally I earn an extra £400 with overtime and my husband an extra £200 call out money but not always guaranteed so didn’t include that.

My plan is to pay this extra money straight off our credit card and loan.

Yes I totally agree, it seems to be the little things that are adding up... coffees at work things like that.

Thanks for all the advice everyone. Payday Friday and really looking forward to getting things in order.

Quick update from me, credit card is now down to £400 hoping to pay £200 the next 2 months then we’re left with just the loan.

Not sure whether to pay some of the loan of with an interest free card or just overpay it every month? Any help or advice would be much appreciated
