Bosch Dishwasher won't start - help!

Hi,
I recently installed a new kitchen with an integrated dishwasher, the Bosch SGV46M43GB. After fitting it and plumbing it in i've come to turn it on to run the test wash and nightmare, nothing happens, no power at all. All fuses/plugs have been checked so there are no problems with the power supply to it.
To repeat this is the first time i've tried to use the dishwasher, does anyone know of anything that could be stopping it working? I wasn't sure about water pressure or perhaps just a "switch" or something somewhere (i hope!)
Any help or theories would be great.
Many thanks
Simon

Sorry for stating the obvious. Is there a on/off swith somewhere ? Am not familiar with this kind dishwasher but my AEG. does not light up if I don't press the program buttons and on switch.0

yeah I checked the on/off switch and its certainly turned on. I just wonder if there is some kind of auto-shutdown or valve if water pressure is not above a certain number (so it doesn't run dry) or perhaps something I needed to do that wasn't obvious before it would work.
Thanks0 -
when you open the door look at the catch and check there is no packaging caught in it, next remove the water fill hoses and check there is water going to them/it and there is no restriction where the pipe screws onto the valve, there may be a plastic insert you missed removing, dishwashers will first check the door is shut, then either activate the drain pump or fill with water, you should hear either happening, if none of the above work and you have electrical power then call in the manufacturer as its busted0

I'll check all these and get back.
Thanks for the help!0 -
If there's power to the supply point, there's no blown fuse and the cable is connected okay it should power up on the I/O switch. If it doesn't don't go any further while it's under warranty, call Electrolux Service and get them to put it right.
Just be nice to the engineer and offer a cuppa etc. just in case you missed something. Most like chocolate biscuits.

I have a Bosch dishwasher had to get the
bloke out to show us how it worked as we
could not get ours to work either.
But he was very nice and explained it
to us,seems he does this a lot as people
sometimes struggle with the instructions.
We struggled even more with the tumble
drier and it was the same bloke to came out
to show us how that worked as well.
