I've built up about £40 of credit on my google play account via google rewards/surveys, however I'm considering closing my google account soon and was wondering if there is a way to move the balance out of the account, either to another google account or as some soft of gift card/voucher to someone.
any creative ideas appreciated. cheers:beer:

maybe I could have worded it better, but I already knew you cannot literally move the balance to anohter account. what im looking for is a creative idea to make use of the balance before I close the account. purchasing apps etc wont help me as they'll be tied to the account.0

i use my google play balance to buy music, once purchased and downloaded its yours to use on any systems (not tied to your google account), there are also movies, tv, books which i'd guess work in the same way but haven't bought myself so can't confirm.
FYI Google rewards credit only lasts 12 months before expiry now- Mortgage: 1st one down, 2nd also busted
- Student Loan gone
Swagbucks, Mingle, GiffGaff, Prolific, Qmee & Quidco; thank you MSE every little bit helps0 -
With books, I download mine in the google books thing (you have to search in your library for the download link thing )which then come as a link via adobe digital editions. When you click on the link it loads the book into the adobe reader so you can read it without going through google book reader in the browser.0

not quite, they last 12 months from the last credit so as long as you do one per 12 months the credit stays.0 -

are you sure? I thought it was per actual survey payment or is that what you mean.
So if you have £5 of credit and it is 364 days old and then you do a survey for 10 p, as far as I was aware, you would lose the £5 at the roll over of the year but keep the 10p as that would only be a few days old.0 -

Yeah, I'm sure, 90% of my balance was accrued over a year ago, some of it 3 or 4 years ago even. As long as you do one survey per 365 days you'll keep your full balance
edit: my balance has acrrued since feb 2016, and I've spent £2 of it0 -
yeah its actually an annoying glitch that I wish they could fix. I also use mine for books and music and sometimes the occasional app0
