Mortgage approved, but waiting for offer. But In between they required p60?

So we’ve been told by our broker that our mortgage was declined, due to our travel costs to work as we’re moving quite far. Anyway my broker appealed it, and we got a letter from my partners work to say he can get a transfer, and then they came back said they’ve now approved it. We’re still waiting for the offer though, we had to send them an amended memorandum of sale as the price was reduced due to a valuation picking it up as less than what it was originally stated as. Anyway, since being told our mortgage has been approved, but before we get our offer, we’ve been asked to provide my partners p60 for last year, they already have 2019. Why do you think this is? Do you still think everything is ok??

At a guess, I would say you have maybe used bonuses/commission/overtime and they need a 2 year history of it. But it could literally be anything.
If they are asking for documents, they are not declining your case. If you have the document then there is no issue.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Your broker should be much better positioned to answer your question being both intimately familiar with the case and professionally qualified.
The bottom line is there isn't much you can do to influence the situation, just send them the P60 and cross your fingers.0
