Morning all :j
So far spent £1.90 on brekkie as no (quick prep) food indoors and didn't want to eat leftovers as saving them for tonight's dinner
. Out to lunch with 3 of my bosses  , so between them I won't have to get my purse out
Need to get a bottle of nail varnish remover as have chipped varnish and it's unsightly. Hopefully my Boots card will have enough on it to fund this purchase
Tesco delivering my shopping tonight so I'll get back to home-made lunches from tomorrow :T :TThe 365 Day 1p Challenge 2025. Member #420 -

Well so far today, I have spent the sum of 60p.
I don't plan to spend anymore than that, but I am going to a Scout's christmas fare tonight....but Im selling..so it looks like it will be a flask of coffee for me.
Had a bad night last night...with england and all, the OH decided that we should go shopping for Xmas bits down @ debenhams as they had 20 -25% off everything.
Though I got some xmas bits at a reduced price, I saw a new jacket for £40 reduced to £30.
I asked myself all the norm questions of do i need it etc..... but I can say its being used already.
Still only spent overall £45 so it was not all that bad,,,,and I have been really good, im making my lunch for work and walking to work.
Hope everyone has a good MS day.
Why do people feel the need to keep up with the Jones's ?? Why do some people feel the need to out do there friends and family ?? is this real happiness ??0 -

Hi free, PaP and all, :hello: :hello:
Well, hopefully, today should be my last NSD of the week - providing the pay hits the account at midnight, as promised.
I have been studying the Chinese takeaway menu, usually on the fridge door, so much that I could gain a degree in chinese food.
Am still undecided about what to have for my 'payday treat' - the local 'chinese' does an excellent 116, but sometimes I'm just happy to have a 64, with fried rice. My wife enjoys a 37 (hot) and, of course, we both like the 11 (not vegetarian).
Any suggestions?
I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
