Nationwide pleased to let you know text..... Will it be for amount requested?

So we have just received our text from nationwide to say "we are pleased to advise we have issued you a mortgage offer" but we obviously now have to wait for this to be received in the post which I understand can take a week or so.
Will it be for the amount we requested or could it be less? I feel sick with worry over the whole thing so wondered if anyone could please shed any light? If there are any conditions would we have been advised before they issue the offer?

If you did it through a broker, they should have the answer straight away. (we got the text on a Saturday afternoon, and our lovely broker e-mailed us from home to put us out of our misery!!) If not, maybe call them?
  • Hubby has left a message for the broker so hopefully he will ring back soon, just wanna know all is OK

Offers don't get issued for lower amounts than expected unless you have had some input in the process which has resulted in the reduction.

Ergo... you would know about it if it was...

I'm so happy for you, and I bit jealous, we had our valuation on Thursday and are still waiting for the text message! Broker has reassured is that there's no problems, just a waiting game!

Ours was about 4 days. If you used a broker, they will know the details.
