Lowell - Warrant of Control

Hi all,
Wife received a 'Notice of Issue of Warrant of Control' on behalf of Lowell Portfolio LTD for a sum close to £500.
Firstly, I notice it's addressed to her as a misspelling of her old maiden name, alongside the fact that it's likely over 6 years old (as we've been married 8 years) so am questioning the enforcability.
I'm not question the legitmacy, and I'm guessing a CCJ (summons?) has been ignored, but wondered how this has been pushed through to court with above factors.
Could do without forking out £500 to be honest.

Court papers only need to be sent to the last known address on file, its how most CCJ`s are granted these days, by default.
The oppertunity to challenge Lowell was at the court stage, however, you were denied that chance, so you can apply for a set aside, but there is a cost of £255.00 (although remision on the fee is available) on the basis the debt was statute barred at time of judgement.
