A sticky thread for letter templates

There have been occasions when I have needed to write letter to one of the organisations I owe money to and I have thought: I wonder if a suitable letter has already been written and posted on the forum. After a considerable amount of time I have, luckily, found a suitable letter and tweaked it for my needs. To save time I think that it would be useful to have a sticky thread that has letter templates on it - perhaps a letter per post.

What do you think?

I agree - some type of template library would be very useful.

Even if we could just put a link to the post containing the template.

The only problem i can see with that is the layout.
You would need to put a description of what the letter is for, then the link/letter but i suppose you could then use the "search this thread" option to get all relevent ones together to look at.

If this is to be done it needs to be in an organised way really.

Probably by starting off with all the National Debtline letters with a description (as GeorgeUK says) regarding their purpose, context and applicability. Plus a link to the relevant NDL factsheet for further reference/guidance.

Then other helpful letters from here and elsewhere can be tagged on.

The thread doesn't necessarily need to be stickied, but it should probably be linked to in MSE Andrea's sticky to make it easy to find.
