Intentionally unemployed

Well, if your curent company wants you to stay, you could let them know what your would look for to do that - a pay rise, or other benefits such as (say) addtional paid holiday, part time hours, or whatever.
Of course if theycan get you to stay at a lower wage than you expertise warrents they will be happy to have you on that basis, however if they need your experience then they should be open to negotiation on wages etc.
I think in general it is easier tfind work when you are in work than when you are unemployed, and choosing to be unemployed (as oppsoed to retiring early because you are loaded!) is sufficently unusual that potemtial employers may be concerned that there are reasons you aren't disclosing (e.g. that you were allowed to leave rather than being sacked, or that you are unreliable and just walked out) That may make it harder for you to get as far as getting an interview, partiucalrly if jobs are not easy to come by whwre you are, so employers have a lot of choice.
If your employer is not open to negotiating, it may be worth asking them what you would ned (skills / experience / differnce in approach) for them to be prepared to consider you for a promotion / pay rise. That may be helpful in letting you identify how you can improve your chances either with them or elsewhere.
If you do decide to giveup work, plan careully,. Work out how long you can live offf your savings, and also look into how long the DWP / Jobcentre are likely tpo think you could live off them so you kno when and if you would be able to claim benefits, if you find that you are not able to find work as quickly as you expect.
Consider, as a previous poster suggested, signing up for temp work and/or looking for a part time job - your savigns will last longer, and you can explore other options if you are thinking of a career change. All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)0
