Who still gets paid weekly?

Nearly all my income is weekly.
My wages - weekly and variable
OH wages - weekly
Tax Credits - weekly
Rent from BTL property - weekly
DLA - monthly

Makes it harder to work out when all my bills go out monthly

On the plus side there are 2 months a year when we get 5 weeks out of a month

And no jokes about getting paid weakly

My OH still gets paid weekly. Broadly I think it's mainly small firms and manufacturing that do this. I get paid monthly, so I pay all the monthly bills and 'big' things, and we use his cash for housekeeping etc, then sweep whatevers left into a savings account.

However you get paid, you have to find a routine that works with your budget. A lot of our friends think that OH is 'lucky' to get weekly pay. I think it is easier to go week-to-week if you don't have much financial discipline, but once you have spent a few months getting your budgeting in order, whether you are weekly or monthly, so long as the money hits the account when it should, you should be okay.

I am so slow that jokes about getting paid 'weakly' never even occurred to me. Should I be worried by this?

i agree it is a complete mere to pay every one as they want paying monthly still havent worked out a good way to do we just seem to muddle through each time
