I have nothing to wear!!

Hi, I have been trying to lose weight for the past 8 months and have sucessfully lost 2 stone! However now my clothes are all baggy and are looking dreadfull I havent bought new clothes in ages and I have saved a little to splash out on some new togs, I have sold some 'big' clothes on ebay and at a car booty for some extra spending money. I have another stone to lose before I reach my goal so I dont want to waste money buying lots of new expensive clothes when I hope to lose more weight. However with an office job that requires me to look smart and all these christmas lunches, parties, and gatherings coming up I need something to wear and quite literally I have nothing that fits properly, even my underwear is now to big!:rotfl: So do you have any suggestions on a few key pieces and outfits to see me through these next few months, and where should I try for the best bargains that wont look too cheap. I have 2 christmas parties to attend, one definately requires a dress and one will need perhaps smart trousers and a glam top, but where do I start looking? I am desperate for a new pair of jeans as mine need a belt to stop them falling down and after working so hard at the weight loss I want to show off my new slim figure. I have been invited to a couple of casual evenings with people my boyfriend works with and I really dont want to show him up in front of his posh work collegues.
So I need an idea of what to buy for a temporary capsule wardrobe that can mix and match a bit, and not spend too much money as I want to save most of my pennies for when I reach my target weight. Where should I shop and what should I buy?
Grateful for any comments.

If you have one nearby, definitely check out Primark. Not only are the clothes very cheap, but they sell lots of accessories (bags, shoes, jewellry) to help you ring the changes with a "capsule" wardrobe.
Jeans usually £10-18, dresses from £10, jackets £8, shoes £10, bags from £2. The quality is good enough to look fine for a few months and cheap enough for you not to feel guilty about dumping them when you lose more weight (congratulations BTW!)."Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0 -
ebay! I am in a similar position. Have bought 4 pairs of jeans in the last 8 weeks... 2 in a size 14 and now 2 in a 12 as I have slimmed out ot them! Also bought tops, trousers and a party dress. I did it to so as not to 'waste' money but am actually hooked and will definitely use again once at target. Jeans cost between £9 (inc p &p) for per una to £25 for JAsper Conran. All brand new with tags - someone else's mistake..... Other things were pre-worn but in lovely condition... and I will re-sell the lot once I have slimmed out of them...0
