  • It happens sometimes, I had the same with a 60 mile commute. As long as they are happy it is sustainable and the costs have been accounted for then its generally fine.
    40 odd mile commute isnt anything crazy though but i guess they just want to know he will manage that when he hasnt been doing it yet.
    The joys of dealing with smaller lenders!

    Irony is that you could move 200 miles away, stick an application in with one of the high street lenders and it can sail straight through no questions asked.

    I assume a good reason for using Melton in the first place? I've only ever used them once for a self build case and whilst very very helpful, they did like to check every single piece of information
