Not sure how it happened, I assume it was when I sometimes scratch spots on side of head and might of done it during night, its not a huge patch but not small either, something between 2x 20p pieces side by side and at most 2x50p pieces same for the pillowcase.
I know I won't see it it just bothers me, I double up pillow cases anyway.
Anyway to get them out that won't destroy either of them or be expensive?

Salt wash?
Stain remover?
Lemon?
Dump salt in a bucket / bowl and soak for a few hours.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -
Hydrogen peroxide - available from pharmacies.
Wear gloves as it stings!0 -
Just put extra washing liquid on the stains and rub in before putting in.
Or buy some astain rub if you are one of those odd people that does not already use liquid ;-)
And wash at 90, which is good for bedding now and then. (do not use bio at 90 it kills the enzymes and makes it useless (max 40), get some good non bio for 90!)0 -
Vanish powder in a pink tub is very good a getting rid of dried blood.
Mix a little into a wet sloppy powder and leave on stained patch for 15 minutes or soak item overnight in a bowl of warm water in which some Vanish has been dissolved. Then wash as normal.0 -
If it was me, I would buy a bottle of the spray stain remover that you spray on before washing, use the bottle, if not gone by the end of the bottle then I would throw away.0

Don't put in hot water at the start as that might set the stain.
I 'd probably try salt first sprinkled on the stain when damp, maybe even leave overnight.
or soak in bio wash
I seem to remember that rubbing with toothpasteemight shift stain, but never tried that!Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

Any of the "oxy action" cleaners will remove a blood stain. Their active ingredient is hydrogen peroxide.
Mix it up in a bucket with cold water and soak overnight before washing. Wash at no more than 40C. DO NOT use hot water on a blood stain - it is guaranteed to set the stain. (The proteins in the blood bind with the fibres in the fabric and will never be dislodged.)
