One more question on advice.

Options
My mum is having trouble with IQOR I have now stopped them calling and requested to contact via letter. They are now asking for previous addresses. On this occasion I have told her not to confirm them. My guess is they are trying to find out if my mum does owe money to them. I have asked mum if she does and she told me that she has no debt at all. The question is, by law does my mum have to supply the information they require? such as previous addresses.

They are collection on behalf of BPO Collections, they wont tell her what the debt is for and neither have they gave us the ballance of the debt.

Legally how does my mum stand if she refuses to give IQOR her previous address. When we ask questions as to what the debt is or the ballance they reply due to data protection act, we are unable to supply you with information.

Any info would be greatfully helped.
If it wasn't for Martin Lewis website and his vast knowledge we wouldn't be upto date with what "...Joe Blogs" rights are.
