Hi - does anyone have a contact telephone number or email to obtain old mortgage statements and documents from Woolwich? I have seen advised so far that I need to contact Barclays Mortgage Services and request archive information - but I am going round in circles and cant get through to anyone. Its all automated questions to get through, and of course as its far from current I cant give the right answers! Grrrrrrrr! Help!
Back in the 90s we were sold an add on to our Woolwich mortgage called their Open Plan account and it worked in a similar way as you describe, in that we could borrow money against our property. We were struggling to pay our mortgage at that time and therfore we simply ended up with more debt. Nor sure if this is the same as your stepfather was sold.
