Well chemo didn't go ahead as they are worried about my weight loss. I've now dropped to 7st 5lbs. I started at over 12. I've been shouting about this for a while with the doctors doctor's but it's taken the nurses to do something. Then as I was about to go home I started vomiting which caused all sorts of chaos. I tried to tell everyone is forgotten to take my acid reflux pills but no one would listen. No one does when you're I'll, they only hear themselves. Anyway I've got that sorted too.
My biggest problem is regaining my weight and rebuilding my leg muscles which have completely deteriorated. I can barely get to the top of the stairs now so will be having a bed delivered for downstairs in the next few days. We have been trying to sort out the front room to get it in but there is do much junk. If I can make a space I will have to work around it. It will make life easier as I nearly fell down stairs the other evening and get really frightened now.
I have a benefits check this afternoon. Another waste of time but they keep pestering to do it. Wish me luck. Xxx

Hope the benefits check goes well for you. Glad you are finally getting some more help. Are they giving you those steroid drinks at all? It sounds like you need to boost your weight urgently.

Sounds as though you definiteyly need the downstairs bed. 

Have they put anything in place for you to be able to rebuild your strength?

Ha ha. We could go racing on our scooters. The check went fine. The man who rang was do lovely and helpful, a completely different experience from last time. He is going to try and get the higher rate of pip, possibly mobility and a blue badge. It's something
