Break from pension contribution

Hi
I am a NHS professional, who has been promoted recently and going on a 8 weeks careers break before starting the new job with a new employer. Is this a good idea from pension point of view? Am I going to lose out significantly? Many thanks for your help and suggestion in advance.:money:

Have you checked with the scheme how you will be affected (if at all, assuming you will be joining another NHS employer)?
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!
