Bankruptcy & life insurance

Hi... Worlds upside down at the moment but hope this all makes sense... Last year my wife was diagnosed with triple negative cancer had to give up work for treatment.. financially things were tight anyway but this tipped us & I claimed bankruptcy in February this year... My wife responded well to treatment but we found out this week she has many (5) metastatic tumors in her brain... the out is very bleak & now it is about making her comfortable... we are now worried about our shared life insurance with Vitality life... I paid my £50 to buy out the OR interest but the more I read online the more I'm worried... Can anyone help me on this? Where do I stand... Clearly my wife is priority but beyond this it's just me and our 4yo daughter... We are so worried...

Sorry to hear life is hard at the moment. If you bought out the interest from the OR then there shouldn't be a problem. Speak to your OR if you are worried - the less 'other' worries you have the better just now I think.0
