Hi,
My partner is a NQT and has just started her position. We have a Decision in Principle on a Mortgage from the Teachers Building Society but I was curious to know if any other lenders are willing to lend to people in our position?

Is it an NQT contract? As in a 1 year fixed term contract and this is the first job since qualification?
If so then I dont think so as all other lenders i can think of off the top of my head require a fixed term contract to have been renewed at least once. Happy for someone to come and tell me otherwise though, every day is a school day after all.
If she has gone straight in to a permanent contract then many high street lenders should be able to help0 -
