State pension when living on a boat

Hello,
My dad is eligible to claim his state pension in November and has just received his invitation letter. He lives on a canal boat so doesn't have his own address - he uses mine for any post he receives. I have just logged onto the Gov website to claim his pension but the first question asks whether he lives at the address on his letter. I wasn't sure whether there would any future issues if I stated that he is living at this address? Although I'm not sure what the alternative option would be. Any advice about this would be much appreciated!
Thank you.

He must give them his true residential address if he has one.
Then he can provide you address as a correspondence address.
He may need to claim by phone rather than internet to get this sorted.0
