OR Interview over

OH had his OR telephone interview this morning. We were both very apprehensive beforehand and were bickering at each other but they rang bang on time.

She said she was trying to build up a picture so asked about how long we had lived here, when we got married, what had led to going bankrupt, when did the credit card last get used and why. Was the loans etc used for consolidation only or other things as well. Really just clarifying what was written on the statement of affairs.

We still don't know about the car, she is sending more paperwork out for us to put down reasons we need it and to send in evidence (eg bus timetables etc). Hope its sorted out before the tax is due on it - its already got a slow puncture which needs a new tyre having already put some tyreweld in and OH refusing to spend anything on it until we know whats happening so having to pump it up every few days.

What surprised me was she didn't go over or mention our I&E at all, is that good or bad?

Both feel relieved that part is over but also a bit down as its bought everything to the forefront again and we still don't have any answers about the car but at least its another small step in the right direction.

  • Yaaay!! glad it went well.

I would guess that your I&E was fairly straight forward and what she would expect to see in your circumstances.

    Fingered crossed for the car.

  • Does anyone know what figure the OR uses to value the car? retail figure or trade figure?

We have had a valuation today from someone in the motor trade using the Glass guide and theres a huge difference(over £1000) between trade and retail prices.
