Advice on marital separation and mortgages

Can anyone give advice on mortgage options my daughter is going through a very unpleasant marriage break up and looks set to lose her home as she cant afford a mortgage on her current salary does anyone know of any mortgage products that we could try to help her with ie guarantor mortgage - she can afford the payments but as she is self employed does not have the required books yet - do mortgage companies try to assist these days by paying interest only for example especially if small children are involved any advice would be greatly appreciated

  • Friend went through similar, self employed and after speaking to a mortgage advisor she got herself a mortgage and kept her home.

Worth getting her to seek out a professional.
