advice please - remortgage process

Hi,


Can you advice what/how is the remortgage process, please?

I've got the approval from the bank and they ask for my solicitor's details. I've gave the details to my mortgage advisor who will update the application. So what's next? I assumed the bank will contact my solicitor and I just need to wait for either to contact me?

My solicitor would like a confirmation from me to say I'm happy to proceed using their service, how should I response? Obviously, yes I would like to use them but I haven't heard anything back from the bank?

Please advice, I haven't got a clue.

    Surprised you have not been offered 'free legals' for a re-mortgage? As for what happens next ............. simply ask your mortgage adviser!
