Completion statement

Options
Hello,
what is a completion statement?
Is it something that needs to be signed and returned to our solicitor? Or Is it outlining what remaining funds we have to pay our solicitor for their services?
We have paid our deposit, the solicitors have requested our mortgage funds from the bank.

Just trying to understand it, my mind is boggled with all the paperwork and need it explained in simple terms haha
Thank you

It’s the remaining fees you have to pay to the solicitor before you can complete.

“A completion statement refers to the statement prepared by the seller's conveyancing solicitor indicating the amount of money required to complete the transaction and how the figure is arrived at.”

We received of completion statement last week (due to complete 9th aug)

It's the statement showing all the money going to and from your solicitor for your transaction. If you need things explained, talk to your solicitor - this is what you're paying them money for!
