Dental implants abroad

I have looked at threads here asking for recommendations and personal experiences in dentistry and implants abroad but the responses all seem to morph into dental advice and general warnings about going abroad and why its best to pay extortionate rates in the UK. Bothered!

So here's my question for people who have had dental work abroad.
Please can I have your PERSONAL experiences (good or bad) in visiting a dentist abroad (Anywhere)
What did you have done?
Where?
How much?
Are you happy with the work?

Please no advice about having implants in the UK. Its not going to happen. I have been ripped off for too long now by UK dentists which has led me to the position I am in now.

Personal experiences anyone, please?

A British friend who lives in Turkey uses a clinic near Gumbet and raves about them. He has had a wisdom tooth extracted and one implant so far. If you like I can ask him the name and details.

I eventually chose Sevil in Didim, Turkey.
Fantastic job, fantastic customer service, full of British people and about one third of the price quoted in the UK.
Check out Sevil if your looking for a good dentist.

I have no addition with them I am just a happy customer.

Be careful i have heard some horror stories concerning people who went to Turkey and Hungary for dental work.They ended up having MORE work done back at home in the UK.
