Gleam.io

Good Afternoon
I wonder if anyone on here can help?

Like a lot of people who regularly enter competitions through this site and other competition sites I regularly enter Gleam linked competitions.

I was registered with Gleam with a previous email address linked to Tesco.net which no longer exists. When Tesco.net ceased to exist, June 27th 2018 or was it 2017? I think, I changed my email address to my current one and also changed my email address on all the linked Social Media accounts.

Despite this my Gleam account is still partially linked to the Tesco.net email address. When I enter the competitions I start off logging in with my current email address. Part way through, sometimes when I enter via YouTube and sometimes Twitter these entries wipe out my previous entries into that particular competition and I have to re-enter again. It's as if it switches accounts midway through.

I have contacted Gleam.io for help. They suggested I edit my account to see what email address my linked Social Media accounts are linked to. I have done this and all my Social Media accounts are using my current email address.

I have then gone back to Gleam.io and advised them that I cannot physically do this and can they do this for me by deleting all traces of the Tesco.net email address.
Below is what they have come back to me with:

"We're unable to assist directly unless you can email us directly from that address I'm afraid.

Gleam Support"

So they are saying they can only help me if I send an email to them from an email address that no longer exists and from an email provider that no longer exists!!!!

I think what they are actually saying is they have no control over and cannot administer or manage their own site.

I am not sure if anyone else has come across this. I'm looking to save myself time by entering each Gleam linked entry only once instead of twice or sometimes three times because somewhere my Gleam account is linking into an email address from my distant past.

Regards

Similar, I ignore gleam now because it won't recognise my new twitter handle despite my email being the same. Wants me to enter using a twitter account I don't have and won't register any entries.

Thank You. It's good to know I'm not alone.

But I don't believe they cannot administer their own site!!!

I've even asked them to delete my account so I can start again but they can't even do that. I am unable to log in using the Tesco.net email address so I cannot delete the content myself. Because I can't log in I cannot edit it either.

Yup I've been trying to figure out how to delete my account so I can set up a new one but can't, I log in then it just boots me off saying an account is already registered.
