oatmeal stuffing

Does anyone have a recipie for oatmeal stuffing, i had some last year and would love to make it this year for christmas but wouldnt have a clue where to start.

    It's soooo easy :)

    You'll probably find it under 'skirlie' if you google it.

    I chop a big onion up very finely and then let it saute very gently in a load of butter (about 50g?). When it's soft, you add oatmeal gradually until all the butter is absorbed. Add salt and pepper to taste, then continue to cook it slowly for 5-10 minutes.

    I just do it by feel tbh, you can always add more butter or oatmeal until you get it right.

    It can be an acquired taste - my grandma used to make it and I hated it as a young child but I absolutely love it now, as do my own family. I'm hungry now!
