Looking at your other post, seems you are both under State pension age (and are both living and working in Thailand)?
If so then no, your wife won't inherit any of your State pension if you pre-decease her. Have you considered taking out a private pension for her? Or have you ensured that your own private pension plan includes survivor benefits?0 -

Thanks for your response. Yes I have a private pension with survivor benefits in place.
Out of interest would it make a difference if we were talking about a UK couple living in the UK and the husband passed away. Would there be any state pension the wife would be entitled to?
Thanks againTitch

Not under the post 2016 system unless there is a protected entitlement above the new single rate maximum which comes from pre 2016 accrual. The spouse can inherit 50% of that amount.Out of interest would it make a difference if we were talking about a UK couple living in the UK and the husband passed away. No, it wouldn't make a difference.
Molerat has just beaten me to the point about a spouse still being able to inherit half of any 'protected payment' - that is, any additional amount over the new state pension amount that a person may have accrued via SERPS/S2P prior to April 2016
