Nationwide Fixed rate ending

Hi, our 5 year fixed rate with Nationwide is finishing in January and wondered if anyone knew the process for switching to another deal with them i.e do they do a credit check, affordability check etc. We only have about 8 years left and about £43,000 outstanding, we are not wanting to borrow anymore or change the term, I just want to know process before I get in contact with them. I have been over paying by a relatively small amount and would like to increase this when we switch. Thanks in advance.

Switching to another NW product with no additional borrowing or change in term? No checks at all. 5 minute job online.
You can select a new product when you’re 5 months or less from the end of your fix.0 -
Thanks for your quick reply, I didn't realise you could do it 5 months before it ends, thought it was 3 👍0

They changed it recently to 5 months, previously it was 3 months. https://www.nationwide.co.uk/products/mortgages/existing-customer-switching/apply0
