State pension entitlement for widow

Can someone point me in the right direction for info please? My FIL was trying to work out where MIL would stand if/when he dies if that is before her. From what he says he doesn’t think she has paid much, if any NI as she worked part time for years while bringing up the kids. At the moment she gets something like £75 a week from her state pension - she is 84. If she is left on her own what would she get and would this info be available if we registered her on the government gateway site? Thanks

Don't know how much savings they have but my mum never worked and dad had low paid jobs so she now has to rely on benefits and manages fine. She does not have a car but certainly does not stint on days out, entertainment or holidays.0
