Redemption fee still valid after Virgin money bought by Clydesdale/Yorkshire

Options
I have a redemption penalty on my mortgage until November 2020, does anyone know if I can wriggle out of this since version is being taken over by Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank?

No, nothing changes just because the mortgage has been bought by a new bank.

    No. You can't wriggle out.

    No chance.

You should have received a letter this morning (I did) have a read - nothing changes except it will now say Clydesdale at the bottom of the paperwork (but virgin will remain at the top of the page).
