Anybody else been lumbered with it?
The supposedly 'new & improved Twitter'.
Anybody else absolutely despise it just like I do? It's like they have put the mobile version on the desktop. It looks horrible.

I'm no Longer on Twitter or Instagram. I do find more and more websites catering for Mobiles. IE. The banners just do not move and you have to read a tiny proportion of the screen. This seems a tad unfair to those who can't use small screens, for example, those with sight issues. I am confused as I thought The "m" in front of a Url changed it to mobile site use?Compers challenge 27/70

Despite people clicking on my retweets so that it "pops up" and then retweeting that, I'm still getting notifications and my @ is now included in their replies too.0

Like that you can easily see any mentioned companies on the right, but hate everything else. I usually hit LIKE then RT and quickly read to see if it asks for a RT. It no longer quotes the messages. And when there's a hashtag I need to copy, it no longer lets me highlight and copy it.
Useless!2024 wins: *must start comping again!*0 -
The problem is, as prices rise and mobile phone technology advances, people are being increasingly placed into a situation where they are making a choice between buying a desktop/laptop PC or buying a smartphone. And people are going to pick the latter in the vast majority of the time. Chances are, outside of hardcore gaming or specific, niche reasons (where they'll also have the money to get a top of the line PC or Apple computer), consumers are choosing to move their computing habits online and to the smartphone. I don't see that trend changing any time soon.mummy2threeboys wrote: »I'm no Longer on Twitter or Instagram. I do find more and more websites catering for Mobiles. IE. I personally, am no longer on Twitter or any other social media network for that matter. I am concerned about the way civility, freedom of speech and free thought as well as the concentrated power of large tech firms, particularly the social media companies.0 -
