Solicitors checking source of fundd

Hi everyone! So my husband and I are in the process of buying a new build house. We have paid the reservation fee, had the mortgage offer and signed countless forms from the solicitors. All seems to be going smoothly. The solicitors have requested to see proof of deposit, which I sent them. A small part of the deposit was a gift from my mum (she gifted me some money to buy a car and said that any left over could be put towards the house deposit). She has signed a declaration to say that it is definitely a gift, she doesn't expect it to be repaid and will have no interest in the house. The solicitors have now asked for proof of ID documents and a bank account from my mum. Again she is happy to provide these. However, my worry (I do tend to worry a lot!) Is that the source of the gifted money was a bank loan that my mum took out. She chose to do this, I didn't ask her to it was something she wanted to do, and as I said she has signed declaration forms and letters stating that it is a gift to me. Will the fact that when they see my mum's bank statement and see that it was a bank loan that she has taken out make them ask more questions? Are they likely to need any more information or are they literally just checking that the money has not come from any "dodgy dealings"?!
Hopefully I am worrying over nothing (as I seem to be doing the whole way through the process so far!!!
