Stain treatment - Snail Trail!!!!!!!

Yes thats right :mad: , got up this morning and my dark brown velvet curtains hanging at my patio window have had a snail run up through them!!!!! had to leave and come straigt into work - any ideas how to tackle this when i get home? :confused:

  • They will definitely be dry by the time you get home - you should be able to just brush them out with a clothes brush. It's worked for me in the past.

    You'll have to find the little !!!!!! though, otherwise he'll do it again tomorrow.

  • It should just brush off - DD used to keep giant snails & the best thing to de-slime things is vinegar.

    Failing the above, try baby wipes - they seem to be the answer to absolutely everything in our house ! (great for skirting boards, marks on walls, uPVC doors and windows and leather sofas!)

    Add shrink film to the kitchen door & insulate
    Insulate front door

    Find wrist warmers & the wool socks!
    Wash heated throws
    Wash duvet & wool blankets
    Buy vest tops to go under clothes and PJs
    Buy nets for bathroom and kitchen
    Buy or make blind for kitchen
  • Well a damp cloth then a brush with clothes brush worked a treat, couldnt find the wee !!!!!! last night so took the precaution of not letting curtains touch the floor!
