Half Day Holiday - Time

Just wondering ..

I work 9am-5pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch break from 12:30pm to 1.30pm

I am wondering what time would I leave for a Half Day Holiday?

    You work 7 hours/day.
    A half day is 3.5 hours.

    If you have the afternoon off, you should work 9.00 to 12.30pm = 3.5 hours.

    If you have the morning off, you should turn up at 1.30pm and work 1.30pm to 5pm = 3.5 hours.
