It's not the only development selling units either.
8% Net return assured for 5 years
Payment Plan:
Option 1: 25% On exchange, 25% 1st October 2018, 25% 31st Jan 2019, 25% on completion
Option 2: 40% deposit on exchange, 40% 1st October 2018, 20% balance on completion 2% Interest on deposits during construction

When I looked into this as investment opportunity - I did not think the returns stacked up. It was around 3% PA on the one I looked into in the 'north' and were alot cheaper than the one on this link. You have to pay quite high service charges to the developers - which clearly eats into the profit. Also of concern is that you have no idea what other 'new build student blocks ' will get built in the city over the years AND if the government decides at some point to restrict the number of student places in the future which they could do - there would be more supply than demand.0
