£45, 723.65 cheque

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone on the board, has had a letter through saying they have won £45, 723.65 they want you to send your vefie code off to claim, but the catch is you have to send them £25 and post it to Holland.

No geniune prize asks for any money upfront, so this went straight in the bin.:money:

hi unfortunately i get quite a few of these emails and now ive started getting them through the post,theres a daily competition to in £200 or £250 cant remeber which,but since i started entering it ive been bombarded with loads of crap from provident vanquis and all them so ive started blocking them and avoiding that one.
sad isnt it that all were doing is entering competitions and yet theres some of them out there that are using our deatils,and am pretty sure even if u tick the boxed not to be passed onto third partys they do anyway,some of these competitions we have no idea what so ever who we are giving our deatils too,ie names adresses home telphone numbers dates of birth ect im getting real wary now of which competitions i enter,it would take nothing for someone to build up a site and put up a competition and gather hundreds of peoples details.
