Yay!

Just wanted to have a little thread of happiness if I may.

As some of you know, my moped was recently stolen and subsequently it reappeared in a rather worse for wear state and was eventually written off. The settlement cheque should be here tomorrow *fingers crossed*. Anyway, I just got paid as well, so im calling the credit card company first thing in the morning to pay it off in full. TAHDAH!! I now only have overdrafts to clear!

YAY!

Probably not to be honest, im looking at relocating nearer my hometown and buying a house and a moped would be quite impractical there, but im never saying never!

Im just pretty pleased that at the moment, there is no debt that would be a barrier to a mortgage and means that im not consistently recieving bills! The interest im paying drops a heck of a lot too as im only charged interest on the overdraft over £1500.

Im going into work tomorrow (im on holiday at the mo though) to have a chat with my boss about asking for a transfer, ill move in with my mum temporarily while I house hunt which means that pretty much all of my salary can be saved for the 5% deposit which wont take long at all. Im going to be very naughty and not pay off the overdraft in the meantime, id rather save and buy a house! (Although every mystery shop payment goes into the account with the overdraft so the interest of approx £7 is always covered, and the debt reduces a tiny bit! I must make sure I am around to grab some of the jobs tomorrow though as someone down here keeps taking them before I get home from work!)
