Credit Score Dipped After Mortgage

Options
I have just bought me first property and I've noticed my credit score has dipped, is this normal? How long does it take to go back to 'normal'?.

I'm asking because I nee to take out a personal loan to buy a new car. How long do I need to wait before making an application?

Any advice is greatly appreciated

Thanks

Your credit score is a made up number that counts for nothing.

As above, these 'scores' generated by credit reference agencies are meaningless. Lenders don't see them, only you do.

Just apply for the loan when you are ready. Your 'score' will probably drop again when you apply for the personal loan too, but just ignore it.
