Bensons for Beds win – thanks One-Eye

It’s taken a while to sort things out, but eventually took delivery of a new bed & mattress yesterday from this comp on Scala Radio. (Hadn’t realised quite how complicated choosing a new bed could be!)
I had a phone call on the Friday pm saying that I was shortlisted and would be called during the on Sunday morning (along with 4 others). It seemed to take ages on the Sunday morning, but eventually found myself selected as the winner talking to Anthea Turner & Chris Rogers on air!
Fortunately, they didn’t know much more about what was going on than I did, so I hopefully didn’t come across too nervous – they were supposed to ask me the question from the comp entry, but didn’t know what it was!
The end result was £1000 to spend at Bensons for Beds. A new mattress was near the top of my comping wishlist, so very pleased with this win.
