Holiday right before completion...

Good morning!
My family booked a surprise holiday for myself and partner, this was booked prior to knowing about our house purchase and by coincidence it's going to clash with the run up to completion.
We are unsure if this is a silly thing to do but we would really like to take advantage of the holiday. We have a mortgage offer with Halifax obtained via a broker, the broker already has copies of payslips, bank statements etc and all conveyancing is sorted, just waiting on the house to be completed. We have already signed all documents etc.
We are due to complete at the end of August, it's a two week holiday and we would arrive home the day before completion
Is this likely to cause any issues? My concern is if the bank decide to do a last minute Audit or request any further documents we won't be available to provide them, I can obtain my payslips etc while Im away but my partner would not be able to and we don't have much confidence in her HR dept to sort it out.
One of our mortgage conditions was to reduce debts, we have reduced all debts and both our credit scores have improved since offer was given. I'd imagine Halifax can check this themselves without us needing to send in evidence etc?
Am I worrying over nothing here? Are Halifax likely to request more documents this close to completion? I have read some horror stories on here regarding last minute Audits etc and I certainly wouldn't want to be in another country if this was to happen. On the other hand we've had a really busy year and it would be lovely to get away for a couple of weeks.
I plan on bringing this up with our broker but we've been a real thorn in their side for a while now so it would be nice to get some opinions before contacting them if its not necessary

Generally, as long as the time between offer and completion isn’t too long and you’re not looking for an extension on your mortgage offer you shouldn’t need to be around in the run up to completion. Obviously you will need to make sure that you have signed all the relevant paperwork and transferred any necessary funds to your solicitor in advance.
There is always a small chance of needing to supply further info prior to completion, but it’s rare.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Thanks thats reassuring.
Our mortgage offer will have been valid for just under three months when completion goes ahead and our offer doesn't expire until 6 months after the completion date is due.
From what you have said it sounds like this should be pretty straight forward.0 -
We were in a similar situation with a pre booked holiday. The holiday start date landed on our completion date. We managed to rearrange the holiday with the company we had gone through (Le Boat) and move it to next year to give us plenty of time to move into our new home.
It took the stress out of the move and as we had the week booked off work anyway gave us plenty of time to settle into our new home and get furniture built before going back to work.0 -
OP, speak to youe solicitor about it. You should still be available over the phone on holiday and have access to emails to answer any queries.
It is only if you are asked for any paper documents or to sign anythin with a wet signature.
The risk is small but is present.
I wouldn't go on holiday pre-offer but this is not the case.0
