Where can I get...

...a decent clip frame?

OH is a big comics geek, and I managed to get a comic book artist to do a sketch for him, roughly A4 size. I'd like to give it a black border with some card, so I need a clip frame that's a wee bit bigger than A4.

Bought one from Poundland that looked okay, but after I took it out of the shrink wrap, discovered it was flawed. :( Am not going to take it back for a pound, but I need to know where to buy a better one!! I am minimising my high street shopping this year (the crowds are awful) so if you can give me a shop name I can pop in and out of very quickly on Thursday late night shopping, that would be fabby! :T

PS Hope everyone's Christmas shopping is going well. People keep telling me there are loads of shopping days to Christmas - not when you work full time there aren't!!

  • Not sure where you live but Au Naturale is good for frames and the very big Asda/Tesco etc

  • Wilkinson has a big range of clip frames in and they are much better quality than the pound shop (I've had the chipped, scratched ones from the pound shop too!)
  • Our woolies has a big selection i bought 2 big ones for £4 also if you have an ART they do massive ones

  • I'd go with Wilkinsons - I bought a pack of 3 for our bathroom as needed to spruce it up on the cheap. They do single ones or packs and the quality is really good.

    Also what about Hobbycraft?

Don't have a Wilkinsons, Ikea or Hobbycraft near me, unfortunately. :(

Going down south at the weekend, so will have a look out then. Thanks for the suggestions!

I've just seen some clip frames bit bigger than A4 in Dunelm £1.69.

Just need to double check the size of my photo before going back to get one....
