in Cutting tax
I used my computer during a period of self employment. Last tax year I claimed 40% of it as a deduction.
What percentage can I use this year?
Thank you

Was your computer used solely and exclusively for the purposes of the business?Gone ... or have I?0

It was up until I closed the business down midway though the tax year0

If it was used solely for the business whilst you were self employed why did you only claim 40% on last years tax return?
Did you use the 40% as a First Year Allowance with 60% to be carried forward to the next years tax return? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I thought 40% was all that i could claim.
