Asset share uplift?

For the last two years Aviva have put out a document regarding surplus funds for my with profits pension.
The documents states that my fund would get a 45% asset share up lift last year and 50% this year.
I rang Aviva to ask them to explain what the uplift meant to my policy as my transfer value hasn't really changed much. The person I spoke to hadn't seen the document but said he would look into it and get back to me. I was sent a policy statement which I'd already had.
Could someone please explain what a asset share uplift is.

Look at Section 2 'Targeting payouts':

It's pretty convoluted but seems to be linked to the smoothing of returns for a with-profits policy.

As above, and assume that's referring to the final bonus on maturity.

Thank you both for taking time to reply.
I did hope that it was something significant regarding to the value of my fund, I'm now doubting it.
I can't work out if it's two separate uplifts or if it's 45%(2018)+5%=50%(2019) the regular bonus on my last statement was 5%.
The transfer value over the last couple of years hasn't changed a great deal.
