Insurance

Hi all,
I successfully went Bankrupt in April but it’s been a very slow process for some reason. I have a question... unfortunately my car has been hit (drunk driver while I was in bed) and written off. The insurance company will probably pay around £800-£900 for it and it’s occurred to me that I might need to notify the OR? They let me keep my car because it was worth less than £1000 and because I’m disabled so I really do need to get another car and I’m really worried they will take the money.
Thanks in advance :)

You should have had a letter disclaiming the car? If so, it’s yours and no longer vests in the trustee. You don’t need to pay the OR.
