Turnaround Time - Aldermore

Options
Hi,

I know I should have patience etc.

Full application made to Aldermore on 2nd July.

Valuation instructed on 5th July and conducted today and I've received the report today. All ok with no issues.

I assume my application has been "accepted" on 5th July.

Website says 25 days from application acceptance to offer.

What's your recent experience on this, shall I be prepared to wait the full 25 days (I assume working days!).

Or are they usually quicker?

We've just completed with Aldermore last week. We were a new build so timescales were different but we had the valuation the Thursday and had our offer in the post on the Saturday. They were very quick, but we were a reasonably straightforward case as they go by the sounds of it. Good luck!

    That is quick!

Hoping my is reasonably straight forward, we are just moving homes.

Gone to Aldermore, due to adverse history, but this was over 4 years ago, with just 2 defaults, both fully satisfied. No missed payments, or issues for the past 3 years.

    Fingers crossed!

Has anyone else had recent experience? Any MA's shed any light?

We just got our mortage offer, it took a while as our solicitor messed up.

We initially applied back in May.

    22/05 - mortage application
23/05 - mortage in principal approved
    28/05 - valuation fee taken
    29/05 - additional info required (P60s)
    13/06 - valuation completed
(Underwriters wanted to see the full deposit before offering mortage)
    28/06 - deposit proof submitted
4/07 - no update or mortgage offer - solicitor issues
    12/07 - mortage offer

    Thanks nattybuk,

Broker has advised he spoke to Aldermore ealier who have advised they have a backlog and should respond by next week.

Fingers crossed it's earlier, sleepless nights not going away!
