What's the next move?

Ok have read all the newbie stuff and followed the advice after a 30 day countdown to court letter having totally ignored everything up to now. Have received the SAR stuff from the Parking company and it all looks complete plus have requested the account be put on hold with the legal bloodhounds which they eventually did all so far so good but what next?

My car was parked there several times and it's all in the SAR evidence including sign pics etc but apart from being told by a work colleague that we could park there and ignore the tickets I am at a loss to see what my defence is... any advice gratefully received! Note this is obviously generic information but would say it was many moons ago but still chasing.
Even having to pay a much lesser amount would be a result.

Where did you park - location?

How many PCNs are in play and are they all the subject of this LBC?

Did you get windscreen PCNs or is this ANPR?

What signs were there; show us some images (change the URL from http to hxxp)?

Which PPC and is it Gladstones, BW Legal or SCS Legal?

Location? As in geographical town etc or vicinity of a building/type of area?

Windscreen PCNs - multiple and all for this LBC running just into 4 figures

    Letter of claim from BW

Wouldn't saying or showing signs identify this? Asking because of all the warnings on these threads..

The basic defence by bargepole plus adding the abuse of process paragraphs by coupon mad is the basic defence for anyone, plus a few additions

You don't want to identify the driver if you have not done so already. You also don't want to reveal PCN numbers, reference numbers, names, addresses etc.

The location might be one that is well known and so you can be directed towards useful resources.

The signage forms the basis of the parking company's alleged contract with the driver and would be very useful in order to help formulate your defence.

Location unlikely as it was at the rear of retail units and not easy to chance upon by accident. However I did work in thos retail units so not random parking.
It was PremierPark forgot to say
I only have sign pictures from the SAR and they are not close up or clear enough to read the content.

OK, so Premier Park read this forum and even joined it briefly then ran away!

But they are nothing to worry about and we have beaten them at hearings in all cases I can recall so far.

That's what I wanted to know. Thing is, as the driver started to get PCNs on the windscreen, how is the Defendant going to explain to a Judge why that driver still carried on parking there?

You can hardly say the driver didn't know, once the first PCN was issued. One to think about, how are you going to argue this and look like the honest party? Not saying there is no defence - but it makes it harder.

The driver parked there while coming in to pick me up I should have mentioned!

Exactly the point hence not sure of the next move - I was told that the driver could park there and ignore any tickets as it was our retail unit but they turned out not be authoritative.

On technicalities there was only 1 sign and it's not clear that it refers to all the space behind the unit however it is visible in the PCN pics near the car.

Also before this had SCS letters and they requested a different amount per PCN so most confusing (was actually slightly higher amount) or is that irrelevant as it depends on their added "fees"?

Added fees are not allowed so not really relevant

The core charges are possible and are usually £100 plus court fees etc, typically £175 or so in total

OK that will be in the defence then, an 'honest belief' of a right to park there. Who told you it was OK, was it just Chinese Whispers from a non-Manager colleague?

Not a technicality - that's quite a fundamental defence point.

You need to read Beamerguy's ABUSE OF PROCESS thread and how to argue in defence that the POFA, the Beavis case and the BPA CoP disallow added fake costs, in parking cases. That includes £60 debt collection and £50 legal fees - both are fake.

BW are charging x tickets at 100 each plus a few hundred "initial legal costs" saying that is what I owe.
SCS were asking for 165 per ticket with no additional details on that.
