Post Office Personal loan eligibility 9/10 but rejected

Anyone has experience of applying for a personal loan with Post Office? Their eligibility checker showed 9/10 very likely to be approved but turned down after applying. It is misleading and not sure why they show something but do something else when you apply (where they do a hard check)

Experience score: 956
I had no credit checks in last 12 months
No defaults and late payments ever
All cards limit is £18k (only £1400 is outstanding)
No loans
Annual income over £48k

But still got refusal so avoid post office loans who will ruin your credit file and don't believe their eligibility check

Ignore the score, the Post Office don't see it.

What is in your credit files? How much were you looking to borrow?

Why not believe their eligibility check?

It said 9/10, just unfortunate you're the 1/10.

And how, exactly, does one hard search "ruin your credit file"?

You can't make that statement since the eligibility check did not show 100% acceptance.

1 search will not ruin your fake credit score.....chill out.

Check out your credit files to see if there is anything on there that may of caused a decline, then apply with another lender.
