How to get black lead off floor tiles

Options
Decades of cleaning my wood burning stove with black lead has left stripes and smudges on the floor tiles around it.

Does anyone know how to clean them up? Normal cleaning products, scrubbing and a steam mop do nothing!

Thanks.

I had black marks on my tiles from dragging the appliances out to clean. Bar Keepers powder on a cloth and elbow grease sorted it Frith. Now I pull them out with cloths under their feet.

Could be worth trying some WD40 on a small patch - it's amazing what it shifts.
