I thought that there might be some way of alerting HMRC & getting them to send a notice of coding to the pension provider. It's not going to be regular income it's cashing in an entire pension pot to enable a house purchase. If she could take it in one lump sum she would but has spread it over two tax years to keep below higher rate tax threshold so the second tranche will be taken in April 2020. I guess that while the pension provider might have a notice of coding for next we will just need to plan for the worst case of having to wait an extra month to reclaim the extra tax paid.0
